FAME, Inc.’s Parent Council is a group of volunteers dedicated to supporting the education of all enrolled students within our STEMulate® Change Outreach Initiative (grades K-6) and CORE Program (grades 7-12). What is the role of Parent Councils?

FAME, Inc.’s Parent Council recognizes and values the role parents play in the education of their children and aims to strengthen the partnership between family, FAME, Inc. and community stakeholders for the benefit of FAME, Inc. students. The Parent Council endeavors to do this by:

• Fundraising/friend raising – coordinate events and activities;
• Student affairs – host student scholarship, internship, and volunteer activities
• Special events – organize student assemblies, guest speakers, workshops, etc.
• Public affairs – assist with opening day activities, take photographs, and help publicize FAME, Inc. to the community

Parents and alumni take pride in FAME, Inc.’s program and appreciate its invaluable impact on their children and their own lives. We have a highly-involved Parent Council, which operates events and provides support for all FAME, Inc. students.
